So I don't have a lot of substance to say - but had to relate what happened to me and Jim on our way back from dinner tonight. As we pulled into the parking lot of our townhouse complex, we heard a slightly squeaky noise coming from the vicinity of the tires. Jim commented, "It's probably Little Dumb-as-hair caught under the axle again." Little Dumb-as-hair is a child of indeterminate age who has spent the better part of the last five years unsuccessfully attempting to remove himself from the gene pool. We laughed, as Little Dumb-as-hair is the source of much amusement. Then we saw him. No - he wasn't trapped in our axle or pinned beneath our wheels.... He was lounging in our parking space, oblivious to the fact that we were trying to park in it. After a few moments of quiet reverie, his friend - we'll call him "Scooter-brain" - motioned for him to vacate our parking space. Little Dumb-as-hair looks up at us, gets on his bike, picks up one of those metal tomato plant cages, puts it over his head upside down, thus trapping his limbs within it, and then somehow manages to pedal away without quite impaling himself. Little Dumb-as-hair - destined for madness or greatness........ |
listening to: Jackstraw thinking about: how much does it cost to have your gene pool cleaned? seems like yesterday...:
