Back from the land of corned beef hash and cranberry juice, traffic roundabouts and linguica.

Back from the home of McLobster rolls, steamers and Cotrell beer.

Back from a place that almost feels like home - as I've been there more times than I can count. A place where the drawbridge opening is a special event, and the ice cream on the drwbridge is even more special.

Back from a business trip with two wonderful people from work who made it seem not so much like a business trip - but like a trip of possibilities.

We spent a lovely 24 hours in Mystic Connecticut - where we visited the Mystic Aquarium to interview media production companies, and then on to Mystic Seaport to see the "Dogs at Sea" exhibition - which was quite wonderful. At the seaport I was able to quickly visit all my favourite places and think rather wistfully that if it had only been two days sooner, the green would be filled with music.

Ah well.

A bumpy flight back home, a few hundred work emails later and here I am.

Oh! I haven't had the chance to crow about this yet - but you simply must read Dublingirl's diary about her impending domicile change - back to the east coast and the land of history.

Yay!!

I'm sure that it's probably tomorrow now. I should sleep.
